Tell us about your NEW show Called “Miss Conception Goes To The Movies”

Miss Conception: My New show this Season is going to leave people peeing in their Pants, an amazing 16 costume changes, Live singing, Comedy and a whole lot of Hair will blow you away from beginning till end. I’m going to take you through classic and comedy movies from 1939 until today with The Wizard of Oz, Beetlejuice, Pricilla Queen of the desert, Mrs.Doubtfire, Mamma Mia, Cabaret, Pee Wee Herman, Sister Act and so many more. Where did Miss Conception get her start and how?

Miss Conception: Well I was a little gay boy from Mississauga Ontario Canada who loved to be on stage or performing in my parents living room. I first got my stage debut in “Babes in Toyland” as Bobby Shafto at the age of 12 years old with Mississauga youth theatre. From the emerald knights drum and bugle core to a drama major and dance minor at Cawthra Park school for the performing arts I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. When I got out of school I moved to Toronto where I felt accepted in the gay village. May 15th 2000 at the age of 19 Miss Conception was created and brought to life at Zippez nightclub after my friend Ben and Jack saying ” you should do drag you know all the words and you have a stage back ground.” I never thought 16 years later I’d be doing this for a living but couldn’t be happier in any other job. I plan on doing this profession till the day I die or win the lottery.

Are you currently in a relationship?

Miss Conception: I am currently single and taking applications…LOL Right now in life it’s hard to find someone cause I’m always on the road and can’t be with a partner 24/7 unless they want to do my velcro costumes up and know lots of about social media and want to travel with me, then that’s a whole different can of worms…LOL

Most people know Miss Conception but who is Kevin Levesque?

Miss Conception: Well my real name is Kevin Robert Levesque and I’m just a normal next door guy that loves Broadway and performing. When I’m not on stage I love hanging with friends, camping, traveling and being alone thinking of new ideas for shows and what the future holds.

So what does the future hold for Miss Conception?

Miss Conception: The future hopefully holds many wonderful things. I’m currently filming my audition tape for Rupaul’s Drag race season 9 to be the first Canadian on the show which could change my life completely. Brand G Vacations has opened Miss Conception to Europe and will be hosting cruises through Budapest to Prague and Turkey to Athens Greece in August 2016. I’m also filming a documentary of my life and my adventures through the eyes of a 230-pound dude in a dress…LOL

Miss Conception will perform on Friday, Sept. 23, 2016 at Algoma’s Water Tower Inn & Suites in the Pavilion Ballroom, located at 360 Great Northern Rd. in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and Saturday, Sept 24, 2016 in the Fraser Auditorium at Laurention University, 935 Ramsey Lake Road, Sudbury, Ontario.  Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the two-hour show kicks off at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 each and are available by visiting welcomefriend.ca or by visiting any TD Bank location in Sault Ste.
