Rainbow Camp understands and respects that people have differing abilities to pay. We do our best to ensure camp is financially accessible by offering a voluntary tier-based payment system. This system helps us to continue our life-changing camp programs while letting everyone know the true cost of camp. As a result of intensive fundraising and generous donations, we are able to offer subsidized rates for our campers.
Registration fees for Family Camp are calculated based on number and age of individuals.
Based on the above information you may choose the tier that is most suitable for you.
Tier 1 – The true cost of providing an amazing weekend retreat experience for your family.
Tier 2 – A partially subsidized rate for those who are able to pay a portion, but not all of the true cost of camp.
Tier 3 – The subsidized rate for camp. While this subsidized rate does not cover the cost of running the weekend retreat, it allows for our programs to be accessible so that more families can experience the magic of Rainbow Camp.
*This program is voluntary and in no way influences the experience that families receive. It is intended to allow families to take an active roll in supporting the cost of camp. Office staff are the only people at camp who know what tier you have selected and this information is used for billing purposes only.
Location and Accommodations
Lambton Centre is a large lush campground located approximately one hour outside of London, Ontario. Each family will have their own individual cabin or room to share together for sleeping accommodations.
All buildings are winterized and heated. Each bed is equipped with a mattress. Families are responsible for bringing bedding (pillows, sheets, blankets, etc).
There are two housing options:
- The Farmhouse: This building is equipped with 7 bedrooms along with 2 communal washrooms (1 is accessible). This building is fully accessible and is ideal for smaller families.
- Main Cabins: These colourful cabins are spread out across the field and each sleep 10 people. Cabins do not contain washrooms, there are washrooms available a short distance away.
