Rainbow Camp is located near Sault Ste Marie (Canada). When you register for Rainbow Camp, there are three options for travel:
- My camper will be taking the bus from one of our scheduled pick up or drop off locations (included in registration fees). For more information about taking the bus to/from Rainbow Camp (including bus locations) click here!
- My camper will be flying into the Sault Ste Marie (Ontario) airport. For more information on flying to Rainbow Camp click here!
- My camper will be dropped off at Rainbow Camp. For more information about driving directly to Rainbow Camp click here!
Rainbow Camp Bus
Registration for Rainbow Camp 2024 includes travel from any of our bus locations. Families are responsible for transporting their camper to/from a bus location. All buses are private (Rainbow Camp only) and are supervised by Rainbow Camp staff.
The exact pick-up and drop-off locations and times will be confirmed closer to Rainbow Camp!

Flying to Sault Ste Marie
Campers may choose to fly to/from the Sault Ste Marie airport. Flights are not included in registration fees and airline travel is unsupervised. We will arrange pickup and drop off from the Sault Ste Marie airport but please contact us to confirm travel times before booking flights so we can coordinate arrival times!
Travel Bursaries: We have travel bursary funding available if you require financial help with booking flights! When you register online, there will be space to indicate if you are applying for funding. Rainbow Camp has a limited amount of funding available and may not be able to fully fund travel (depending on your location). Travel Credit: Registration for Rainbow Camp includes travel from any of our bus locations. If you are arranging your own transportation to the Sault Ste Marie (Ontario) airport, you will receive a travel credit based on the payment tier selected in registration. This travel credit can either be used to discount your registration fee or we can issue a tax receipt for that amount upon request.
ID Requirements
All campers are required to have a piece of government-issued ID that matches the name and gender on their ticket for travel. On the registration form, there will be a location to include camper's legal name. This will only be used for the purpose of booking travel and will be kept confidential.
For campers travelling from the United States, they are required to have a valid passport in order to cross the border.
Once campers arrive at camp, we have a secure location for them to store any ID/passports for the duration of camp along with any personal electronics used for the purpose of travel.
Driving to Rainbow Camp
Rainbow Camp is located near Sault Ste Marie (Ontario). If you are planning on dropping your camper off directly at camp, the exact location and times will be communicated with you closer to camp.
Travel Credit: Registration for Rainbow Camp includes travel from any of our bus locations.
