Welcome Friend Association helps 2SLGBTQ+ youth, seniors, and allies across Canada, especially in rural and Northern communities, find safety, connection, and community.
Support Rainbow Camp® and year-round connection
The Welcome Friend Foundation is hosting a Winter 50/50 Raffle in support of Rainbow Camp® and other Welcome Friend Association programs that foster belonging, safety, and connection for 2SLGBTQ+ youth and communities.
Funds raised help support program delivery, trained staff, camper support, safety measures, supplies, and year-round community connection.
Who We Are
We are a rural-rooted, Northern Ontario based organization working to reduce isolation, discrimination, and mental health challenges facing 2SLGBTQ+ youth and seniors.
Our work includes intergenerational programs, Brave Space training, Rainbow Camp®, and Rainbow Online Connection, all grounded in courage, community, and care.
What We’re Working Toward
We envision a future where every 2SLGBTQ+ person feels safe, seen, and celebrated, with access to affirming spaces, leadership opportunities, and mental wellness supports close to home or online.
