Cameron Aitken

Cameron is a young person involved in local activism on Queer Issues in Sault Ste. Marie. This past year Cameron was one of the founding members of the Sault’s first GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) in the Algoma District School Board area. The year ended with a gala event that drew many people from the community and Queer friendly folks to a dinner where both Jeremy Dias and Sean Meades were guest speakers. Cameron has been instrumental in creating linkages with the QSA (Queer Straight Alliance) at Algoma University and lives his life openly and bravely. Furthermore some of you have probably seen Cameron’s smiling face involved in many of the local musical theatre productions in town.
